Discussion Questions
1. How did you hear about us and why do you want to join <Vigil>? I heard about you all when my friend yelled at me to never try to apply here, but what friend doesn't want their friend to succeed? I would like to join Vigil because I believe that this guild is able to push me to be the better player I aspire to be.
2. <Vigil> is a semi-hardcore raiding guild. What does “semi-hardcore” mean to you? I believe that semi-hardcore means that you aren't willing to put 7 days a week, 8 hours a day into progression, it's more like 3 days a week and 4 hours a day. Semi-Hardcore also means that the mindset of clearing progression before most other guilds, if not all, is present.
3. Describe your competitive raiding history. Please include reasons for joining and leaving each raiding guild. I have been in two raiding guilds. The first one I left due to inconsistency with the roster, too many people leaving and then not being replaced. The second guild is due to me wanting to be a more competitive person in the sense that I want to be so much better at my class than at my current stage, and I believe my second guild isn't the best place for me to achieve this.
4. How do you prepare for progression fights outside of raid? I always farm for my pots, runes and gear. I run M+ constantly to be caught up in gear. When a new boss comes up in progression, I tend to look at videos and see how other guilds do it to help me visualize the fight and perform better by expecting the abilities.
5. How do you maximize your DPS/HPS?
6. What loot system (loot council, DKP, EPGP) do you prefer and why? I prefer Loot Council. LC allows for the raid leaders to be the one to decide who gets what item based on how much of a player that person is. Currency based systems aren't typically newb friendly, so I find it unfair for a new person that joins the roster because they would need days of progression to be able to afford the same piece of loot the richest player wants.
7. We require at least 90% attendance. Our raid times are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6-10pm CST. If you fall below the 90% attendance requirement during your trial period then your application will be denied. Can you fulfill our attendance requirements? I can always attend 99% of the time. The 1% is just incase a meteor strikes my home and I won't be able to attend one night.
8. Do you pee in the shower? I, as an American citizen, would like to practice my constitutional right to plead the fifth.
9. Do you have any additional comments? Yeah, If you guys can just read my first name, acknowledge that I didn't leave it blank and then pretend that I actually put B0FA in there, that'd be great. I prefer my first name to be hidden to the public as I prefer to be called Bofa.

Hey Bofa,
Thanks for your interest in Vigil, unfortunately we can't offer you a trial at this time. Our dps slots are pretty much full. Good luck in your future guild search.
